ACEMAGIC Unveils $6,499 F9A Mini AI Workstation with Ryzen AI Max+ 495
ACEMAGIC announced the F9A, an AI mini workstation powered by AMD's Ryzen AI Max+ 495 processor featuring 192GB of LPDDR5X-8533 unified memory and a 2TB SSD for $6,499. The compact 1.4kg device allows up to 160GB of system memory to be allocated as VRAM specifically for local large language model (LLM) inference. This machine provides desktop-class LLM execution capabilities in an ultra-compact mini PC form factor, bridging the gap between personal workstations and expensive enterprise AI hardware. It offers AI developers and researchers enough unified VRAM to host massive open-weight models locally without depending on cloud APIs. Measuring just 158.5 × 158.5 × 81.5 mm, the F9A includes dual M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 4.0 slots supporting up to 8TB of total storage, along with OCuLink, USB4, HDMI, DisplayPort, 2.5GbE, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. AMD's Ryzen AI Max series (codenamed Strix Halo) pairs Zen 5 CPU cores with RDNA 3.5 graphics and an NPU over a unified memory architecture, allowing the integrated GPU to draw from a shared pool of high-speed system memory.
