Accio Lab Announces Occamy-1.0 Open AI Model
Accio Lab has announced the release of Occamy-1.0, featuring the Occamy-35B model alongside its training dataset, occamy-data-1.0. The release targets complex automation, agentic coding, and multi-turn tool utilization. Providing open models optimized for agentic workflows and tool execution gives developers stronger open-source alternatives for specialized automation tasks. This initiative enhances the local LLM ecosystem beyond standard general-purpose chat models. Occamy-35B is evaluated on real-world e-commerce scenarios, agentic coding, and Claw-style workflows. Accio Lab's broader project scope includes scalable reinforcement learning (RL) systems for autonomous agents and sandboxes.
## BACKGROUND
Agentic AI refers to Large Language Models fine-tuned to independently perform complex tasks by planning steps, using external tools, and executing code. Fine-tuning models on domain-specific datasets and using reinforcement learning enables them to reliably solve multi-step problems in practical environments.
